This is Nora P.
A singer/songwriter, actress, ukulele songstress and funny gal based in Brooklyn, NY. She originally hails from the DC area, but does NOT hail the Washington football team. (Love those Nats, though!) Since moving to NYC, she’s been taken in with nothing but inspiration and wonder by all the talent around her while also performing alongside the best of them. You might’ve seen her at Joe’s Pub, The Bell House, Rockwood, The Duplex, Club Cumming, Union Hall, Pianos, West End Lounge, or somewhere else random.
Nora is a huge fan of adding a little love and light to the world around her. Always seeking new ways to make people laugh and making new friends in cool places, she’s been told by many “I wish I could keep you in my pocket!”
Nora finds her truest, most authentic self once she gets on stage and takes ahold of a microphone. Whether her audience is a packed room, or just her imaginary friends she’s made when she’s been home alone for too long, you can always count on Nora to light up a room.

“Palka injects a remarkable level of depth into her performance and is easily the evening’s standout. She gives Joan Baez’ 'The Last Thing on my Mind’ and Janis Joplin’s ‘Me and Bobby McGee’ tremendous feeling, but also channels the great storytelling ability of each artist. Her performance is a great homage to the folk and rock singers of the era.” (WOODSTOCK CABARET at Signature Theatre)

"Nora Palka does a lovely job of embodying all the contradictions in Little Red Riding Hood‘s character. Palka has great comic chops, particularly in her interactions with the Baker, the Baker’s Wife, and Jack. She also effectively draws out the sexual yearning and fear in her encounter with the Wolf (a delightfully sleazy Scott Gaines). Palka’s fresh approach to her character yields a Little Red who is vibrant and undaunted, a heroine for the 21st century" (INTO THE WOODS at NextStop Theatre)
